The Cobalt LTZ 2007 version is powered by a standard 2.2 liter Ecotec engine and it also offers 2.4 liter model as optional but with more power. Both the engines are mated to a standard automatic transmission with remote vehicle starter. The equipments have been upgraded and these include auxiliary input jack, AM/FM stereo with CD player and three spoke steering wheel. The new choice to the 2007 Cobalt LTZ version includes an AM/Fm stereo with MP3 playback and in-dash 6-CD player.
The new model is equipped with light weight and strong 16 inch high vent steel wheels. The 2.2 liter I-4 engine can produce power up to 148 hp at an angular speed of 5600 rpm and it is mated to a standard four-speed automatic transmission.
