The New Chevy Cobalt is an elegant compact car that will be offered in two different body styles namely sedan and coupe versions. The compact will be offered in four trim models for each body style. The model comes with 2.0 liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine that produces power up to 260 hp and torque of 260 lb ft. The estimated mileage of the vehicle should be 37 miles per gallon on the highway roads and 25 miles per gallon in the city premises. In addition to the standard 2.0 liter Ecotec engine, it will also offer other engine that can produce more power when compared with the base engine.
Power
With the powerful engine, the new Chevorlet Cobalt is expected to achieve fuel economy of 37 miles per gallon on the highway roads, while it will achieve 25 miles per gallon in the city premises. The new engine equipped in the compact car will generate power at very low rotational speeds. This model is expected to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per gallon in a time span of just 5.7 seconds.
Standard features
As far as the entertainment system in the vehicle is concerned, the new Cobalt compact car comes equipped with the navigation system that will include both CD and Cassette player and satellite radio. The safety features that are expected to include in this model include traction control system, electronic stability control system, curtain side air bags, front side air bags, anti slip program and antilock braking system.
